Our client base at The Equine Therapist is very broad and ranges from single horse owners that just enjoy having fun with their horses to busy competition yards with many horses. We have treated horses ranging across the entire equine discipline from" happy hackers" to dressage, showing, eventing, jumping and racing, however the one thing all our clients have is their concern to ensure that their horses remain at the peak of fitness and without any distress caused by injury. "I have or should I say had 2 unrideable horses" - November 2013
"I am the unfortunate owner of 2 'permanently injured' horses. One with suspensory desmitis and the other, a mystery back/leg problem after rearing, tipping backwards and crashing into a wall. 3 vet practices and many £'s later he was no better, totally un rideable. Clare came out to him and half hour later he had a saddle and a ridder on his back! It's very early days for Romeo (the coloured) but we now have some hope that he may make some level of recovery, so that both he and I have a better quality to our lives. My other boy, Sam is next for the treatment, I know he can never recover but I can't wait to see how well he feels after Clare's treatment. Worth every penny. "

"I own a 15.2hh cob called Rocky who was diagnosed as an idiopathic head shaker at Liverpool University Equine Hospital five years ago. The only treatment they could offer was an operation to make his face numb, which I declined. In an endeavour to find Rocky some relief from this distressing condition I turned to complementary medicine and he started to have laser acupuncture sessions administered by a vet who practiced complementary medicine. The vet told me that he had had some success with the laser treatment and head shaking and gradually Rocky improved with each session which was repeated every three months.
Unfortunately, this year the vet was unable to practice any more due to ill health. I desperately needed to find somebody to carry on treating Rocky with the laser treatment and then I found The Inner Picture website on the internet. Clare came to assess Rocky and give him his laser treatment. Clare also showed me how I could help Rocky with exercises on his ears. When Rocky had a setback caused by the gales, I contacted Clare and she came out the same day. I am impressed by Clare’s professionalism and caring nature. I am so glad that I found Clare because she is a life saver for Rocky and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone."

"Here are some wonderful pictures I thought we would never see again, thanks to you Clare, Saxon was jumping 1 metre 10 on Saturday. He got placed 3rd on Tuesday before in 1 metre class. He looks and obviously is feeling so much better since you have been seeing him. When you think to this time last year, all he kept doing was bucking, rearing and throwing Sam off, we couldn't see or know just how uncomfortable he was. Now she would take him anywhere, he is the happiest, calmest Thoroughbred going. We are so grateful to you Clare, can't thank you enough and im sure if Saxon could he would thank you too."

"Clare came to treat my horse Cassie who is 18, for the first time on Saturday. Cassie has been diagnosed with bone spavin arthritis and every so often she suffers with a weird lameness. Clare worked her magic with Cassie to free up tightened muscles. I rode her the day after treatment and Cas felt amazing, so flowing and so free in her movements and really stepping through from behind. Also we had an issue with her leaning on my left hand. With a simple tongue pulling by Clare this problem no longer exists. I am soooooo very happy with my new flexible mare she feels amazing. Thank you so much Clare, I can highly recommend you xx."

"I had my new mare Misty for a month when she started to buck which got increasingly worse. I had her saddle checked and a full vet check but no one could find anything wrong. I was very upset and considering having to sell her or keep her as a non ridden companion. A friend recommended Clare to me. She came out and found through her thermal images that Misty had heat patches along her back which were causing her discomfort. Through massage she found more tense spots along her back, neck, girth area and hindquarters. She gave her a thorough massage and low level laser therapy.
Clare is fantastic, very calming and aware of Mistys comfort the whole time. She also gave me practical advice and showed me stretches and massages I can do to help maintain Mistys comfort between visits. Since then I have had no more bucking problems and been able to go out competing in dressage and show jumping. Without Clare's help I may never have solved my mares problem. I would recommend her to anyone, whether you are having a problem or just need a check up. I can not express how invaluable her help has been."

"I had recently moved to the area and therefore needed to find somebody that I could trust to make a difference to my horse and his way of going and keep him fit and healthy for me to achieve my goals within the season.
I had Clare visit the yard to do some Equine Thermography (thermal imaging) on my horse as an initial assessment and was instantly pleased with how she dealt with him. Clare is trained in many different ways, from McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapy to Low level Laser therapy (and more!!) allowing her to get to the bottom of the problem and help repair and progress the combination.
She fully explained everything that she was working on and was keen to really make a mark in how my horse went, I now work closely with Clare to achieve the most of my Eventing season and look forward to her visit every time. "

"I cannot begin to thank you enough for the work you did on Saturday morning for Doris, it was amazing and inspiring to experience, quite an intense and emotional experience. When I bought her up from the field today, I did the cranial massage exercises that you showed me, and massaged her face all over, particularly round the ears, and she loved it. Also, I took my youngster out longreining off the yard, and thought that after he'd worked hard I thought I would try the exercises on him - it was brilliant, he really responded to it, particularly on those muscles around where his bridle sits, he closed his eyes and it wasnt too long before he gave a huge long sigh and lots of licking!!! Also, on both Doris and Jester, I massaged quite firmly along the front of the face, from eyes down to nose, and when I took them both out to their fields, both of them gave a long snort and got rid of a lot of gunk (clear) from their noses. So now, the pressure points and the massaging is going to be part of their regular grooming and cool down routines."

Thanks Clare for helping to resolve the issue of head-shyness with my horse Princess. You were actually at the yard to check out another horse but very kindly offered to look at Princess as I had mentioned her issue with head-shyness - she is quite a sensitive horse anyway. After one session there has been a noticeable improvement and I am very grateful. Her well-being is much improved in that she is not so nervous now as you approach her head. Also, I will continue to do the ear-movement exercises to help her.

Clare has done wonders with my horse, Charisma ( kizzi ). She is a large riding horse who would not bend very well. Clare said she was stiff through the left shoulder which stopped her bending to the right, and her hamstring was tight as well. I had a Royal International qualifier the day after and needed a miracle. I have had Clare before and she has helped me with other horses spotting problems ranging from laminitis to splints with her thermal image camera.
Clare spent about two hours with her laser, as well as stretching and massaging Kizzi. I worked Kizzi in for her class, bending her and trying to get her to let go of the rein, I have to say she was 100% better. A completely different horse. Clare worked her magic and I went and won my amateur class and 3rd in my R.I class. Thankyou so much Clare.
